Hello Pirates and welcome to first grade! I am so excited to work with you and your precious child. With love, patience, and hard work we will achieve great things. We are going to have an awesome year! If you have any concerns or questions, please contact me. You are your child's first teacher!
About me:
This is my 30th year to teach. (Time flies when you are having fun!) Previously I have taught kindergarten, 2nd grade, and spent several years being an interventionist for reading and math. This is my 5th year in first grade at PES, and 6th overall here.

Pisgah First Grade Supply List

    • 1 dozen #2 pencils (no mechanical pencils)
    • 1 pair of blunt scissors (Fiskar-type)
    • 4 boxes (24 count) crayons
    • 1 plastic school box
    • 2 composition notebooks
    • One 1” three-ring binder
    • 1 binder pencil pouch
    • 1 large box of tissues
    • 1 roll of real paper towels
    • 1 container of antibacterial wipes
    • 2 plastic 3-prong pocket folders
    • 1 package of 4 dry erase markers (black preferred)
    • 1 pair of corded headphones with microphone

Wish List: Extra pencils, pink pearl erasers, Play-Doh, small indoor recess items, pencils, treats, and snacks for those that do not bring them or forget.
